Committees and Local Boards

Committees of Council

The Township of Central Frontenac relies on a number of Committees and Local Boards — made up of Council members and community volunteers — to support municipal decision‑making and serve the needs of our residents. These Committees provide advice and recommendations to Council on a wide range of issues such as economic development, housing, recreation, trails and waste management.

They review proposals, help plan and guide initiatives, and bring local perspectives forward so that the Township can respond thoughtfully to the needs of our community. Many of these Committees welcome public participation: residents with interest or expertise can apply to serve when positions become available.

By working together through these Committees, we aim to foster transparency, community engagement and sustainable local growth — ensuring that the voices of our citizens help shape the future of Central Frontenac.
