OSO Recreation Committee - Sharbot Lake area

The Oso Recreation Committee is a non-profit committee which organizes events throughout the year to provide recreational activities in Central Frontenac through fundraising initiatives.

Our committee meets September through June on the first Wednesday of the month. Meetings are normally held at the Soldiers Memorial Hall on Garrett Street in Sharbot Lake. We meet on a "need be" basis in the summer. We are always looking for Volunteers willing to offer their ideas and strengths to enhance the fun!

Our annual events are "Canada Day" and "Family Fun Day".

Olden Recreation Committee -  Mountain Grove Arena

The District #2 Recreation committee is a volunteer non-profit committee that works on organizing and running activities in the Central Frontenac and Olden district.  These activities may include but are not limited to dances, baseball tournaments, dinners, Eucher nights,  skating rink, children's activities, senior’s groups and community fundraisers. The Committee is an inclusive committee that strives to involve all members of the community. We provide social interactions and community involvement.

We meet the first Sunday of each month at 6:30pm ( unless otherwise determined) at the Olden Community hall, new members are always welcome.

 Kennebec Recreation Committee - Arden area

The Kennebec Recreation Committee is a non-profit committee of council, which promotes, supports and encourages healthy and active living in Central Frontenac. We provide social interaction and community involvement, through recreation programs and activities so that all members of the community may participate in educational, leisure, sport and physical activities, regardless of their age and ability.
