ATTENTION: Load restrictions will be in effect starting March 1st to April 30th, 2026, on all roads in Central Frontenac excluding Road 38 and in the village of Sharbot Lake. Load restrictions will be set to 5 tonnes per axle to reduce stress on roads during the period of frost and thawing in the spring.

Central Frontenac Fire Rescue is commencing construction on the water supply on July 15 th and will be completed on July 19 th . The work will consist of a silt curtain being installed from the end of the Government dock to shoreline to avoid contamination during the construction and replacement of the existing dry hydrant water supply.
