9-1-1 is now online and available, as of December 8th, 2004.

Who implemented 9-1-1?

9-1-1 was implemented for our area by a joint project between Central Frontenac and North Frontenac townships.

Will 9-1-1 work anywhere in Central Frontenac?

Yes, the 9-1-1 area covers all of Central Frontenac (Former townships of Hinchinbrooke, Kennebec, Olden & Oso).

What is 9-1-1?

To a person in trouble, 9-1-1 is an easy to remember number which will provide them with the type of emergency care they need quickly. To a emergency responder 9-1-1 is a system which can provide a more efficient way to reach those in need of help.

Has every one within the project area been assigned a civic number?

All residences within the area should have a civic address number. Island and water access properties have only recently been assigned numbers in Central Frontenac. If you are have a property with a cottage or house in Central Frontenac and have not yet recieved your number, please contact (613) 279-2935 ext 245, to arrange for you civic address. In most cases a civic address fee will be required.
