Council Minutes – January 3, 2007

Council met at the call of the Mayor, Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the meeting room in the Township of Central Frontenac Office Building, Sharbot Lake.

Present:            Mayor, Janet Gutowski

                        Deputy Mayor, Bill Snyder

Councillors, Norman Guntensperger, Bob Harvey, Jeff Matson, John Purdon, Frances Smith, Gary Smith, Phillip Smith.

Also in attendance: Cathy MacMunn – Deputy Clerk in the absence of Heather Fox – Clerk Administrator.

Pursuant to Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001 that Council proceed in Camera to discuss, personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees.

                        That the In Camera meeting return to regular Council

That John DuChene be hired as Clerk Administrator Officer for up to 4 months as a central Frontenac Employee, to be reviewed at that time (April 2007) and that a by-law be passed to ratify the decisions and details of employment.

That the meeting be adjourned until Monday January 8, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Mountain Grove or the call of the Mayor.
