Council Budget Session Minutes – April 3, 2007

(These minutes will require approval/adoption at the next regular session of Council)

Council met in special session Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. at the Oso Hall , Sharbot Lake.

Present:                        Mayor, Janet Gutowski

                                    Deputy Mayor, Bill Snyder

            Councillors, Norman Guntensperger, Bob Harvey, Jeff Matson,             John Purdon, Frances Smith, Gary Smith, Phillip Smith

Also in attendance:             John DuChene, Acting Clerk-Administrator, Judy Gray Treasurer, Mark MacDonald, Fire Chief and Michael McGovern. Also present: Craig Bakay – Gazette Reporter and Jeff Green – Frontenac News Reporter

The Agenda was introduced. The purpose of the meeting was to review the Fire and Recreation sections of the preliminary 2007 municipal budget.

            That the preliminary budget items related to the 2007 Fire and Recreation             budgets be amended as discussed and further, that a final budget be               submitted for consideration at the regular Council meeting scheduled for                    April 24, 2007 and further that public notification be provided regarding                this meeting.

            That this meeting be adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
