Council Minutes May 23, 2006
Council met in regular session Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 9:00a.m. at the Community Hall, Sharbot Lake.
Present Mayor, Bill MacDonald
Deputy Mayor, Frances Smith
Councillors, Bill Guigue, Janet Gutowski, Bob Harvey, Logan Murray, Jack
Nicolson, Faye Putnam, and Bill Snyder.
Also in attendance Heather Fox Clerk-Administrator, Jeff Green Frontenac News Reporter, and Craig Bakay Gazette Reporter.
There were no disclosures of Pecuniary Interest when the Mayor called for same.
Jeff McCann, O.P.P. Sergeant, attended to advise Council of the cleansing of their watercraft when travelling from one lake to another.

Due to the fact that the brush burning location must be re-located at the Mountain Grove Waste Disposal site and there is no easily accessible location to use, that the practice of burning at that site be discontinued and that brush for burning be taken to the Elbow Lake Site burning area.

Whereas Central Frontenac provides facilities for recreational use and whereas the citizens of Central Frontenac use those facilities and whereas Central Frontenac wishes to be proactive in its recreational policy, be it resolved the Central Frontenac Council invite submissions from interested individuals and sports and recreation associations concerning future needs for facilities or required improvements in facilities located in Central Frontenac.
