COUNCIL MINUTES - November 8, 2004
Council met in regular session Monday, November 8, 2004 at 7:00p.m. at the Community Hall, Mountain Grove.
Present: Mayor Bill MacDonald
Deputy Mayor Faye Putnam
Councillors Bill Guigue, Janet Gutowski, Bob Harvey, Logan Murray, Jack Nicolson, Frances Smith, & Bill Snyder.
Also in attendance Heather Fox – Clerk Administrator, & Jeff Green- Frontenac News Reporter.
3 members of the public attended.
Approximately 7 members of the public attended for the discussion of 6(a) on the agenda.
There were no disclosures of pecuniary interest when the Mayor called for same.
Gordon Garey was scheduled as a delegation on the Agenda but was not in attendance.
The following correspondence/reports were received for information:
1. Economic Development Committee Minutes – October 21, 2004
2. Construction details for October 2004
3. Adopt a Highway report from Sharbot Lake Bridge Club.
4. Thank you to Mayor MacDonald from Canadian Cancer Society “Sharbot Lake you hold the cure for Breast Cancer Walk”
5. Around the Rideau Brochure.
6. AMO’s submission to M.O.E. re: regulation 170/03.
7. Source water protection planning up-date.

That the invitation from the Central Frontenac Fire and Emergency Services District 4 Firefighters Association to participate in the 13th annual Santa Claus Parade on Sunday December 5th, 2004 be received and accepted.

That the letter from the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing regarding long standing service recognition of municipal politicians be received for information.

That the letter from Katherine Kilpatrick, President of the Elbow Lake Ratepayers Association requesting a sign at the entrance to the waste disposal site at Elbow Lake warning of the presence of bears, be received and forwarded to the Ministry of Natural Resources, and be received and the request taken into consideration for all waste disposal sites within Central Frontenac.
