COUNCIL MINUTES - APRIL 27, 2004
Council met in regular session Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers, Sharbot Lake.
Present: Mayor Bill MacDonald
Deputy Mayor Faye Putnam
Councillors Bill Guigue, Bob Harvey, Logan Murray,
Jack Nicolson and Bill Snyder
Absent: Councillors Janet Gutowski and Frances Smith
Also in attendance Heather Fox - Clerk Administrator, Sandra Clow - Clerical Assistant,
Bill Nicol - Public Works Manager, Jeff Green - Frontenac News Reporter and John Chambers - Gazette Reporter.
Approximately 10 members of the public attended other than those scheduled on the Agenda.
There were no disclosures of pecuniary interest.
O.P.P. Inspector Gerry Salisbury and Sargeant Jeff McCann attended to provide Council with a quarterly policing update.
Ken Black attended to request Council to consider expenditures on the Henderson Road north for 2004.
The following correspondence was received for information.

The following resolutions were presented.

That the agenda of April 27, 2004 be adopted as amended with the following additions/changes: Change agenda items 9 (d) and (e) to 7 (h) and (i).

assessment on roll number 1039010030068010000 be reduced in the amount of $93,000 due to the campground assessments being cancelled.

That non profit sports association located in Central Frontenac and providing recreational services to the residents of Central Frontenac be allowed to use a public facility, free of charge, for registration purposes, once yearly. And that the By-law be amended to reflect this change and a definition as to once a year use.

The meeting recessed at noon and reconvened at 1:00 p.m. for budget deliberations.
