Council Meeting - April 21, 2004

Council met in special session on Wednesday, April 21, 2004 to begin budget deliberations.

Present:                        Mayor Bill MacDonald

                                    Deputy Mayor Faye Putnam,

                                    Councillors Bill Guigue, Janet Gutowski, Bob Harvey,

                                    Logan Murray, Jack Nicolson, Frances Smith and Bill Snyder.

Also in attendance Heather Fox - Clerk Administrator, Judy Gray - Treasurer Tax Collector, as well as Ian Trickett, Cathy MacMunn, Chris Matheson, Bill Nicol and

Mark MacDonald (and Jay DeBernardi) to present their department's budgets.

2 members of the public attended.

Treasurer Judy Gray discussed the Notional Tax Rate followed by a line by line presentation from each department.

The meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m.  The next budget meeting was scheduled for April 27^th at 1:00 p.m. following the regular Council meeting.
