COUNCIL MINUTES - APRIL 13, 2004
Council met in regular session Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Library Building, Mountain Grove.
Present: Mayor Bill MacDonald
Deputy Mayor Faye Putnam
Councillors Bill Guigue, Janet Gutowski, Bob Harvey,
Logan Murray, Jack Nicolson and Bill Snyder
Absent: Councillor Frances Smith
Also in attendance Heather Fox - Clerk Administrator, Sandra Clow - Clerical Assistant, Josee Tanner - Frontenac News Reporter and John Chambers - Gazette Reporter
Approximately 50 members of the public attended for the initial portion of the meeting.
There were no disclosures of pecuniary interest.
Michael Wise attended to suggest ways property taxes might be brought under control by taking a proactive role in seeking and implementing ways in which to improve the funding of local services, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of township operations and use constraint when preparing the 2004 budget.

That the Public Works Manager be authorized to Prepare a tender for
engineering services for the registration, water testing, monitoring and
management of small municipal non residential water facilities for the
Township of Central Frontenac to comply with Regulation 170/03 of the Safe Drinking Water Act for presentation at the next meeting and that the Public Works Manager prepare a report of costs of administering this
project with municipal staff.

That Council authorize the Clerk to place all requests to endorse resolutions from other municipalities or organizations under the information section of the agenda and that if any member of Council wishes to bring forth one or all of the requests to be discussed under new business, that request be brought forth during the adoption of the agenda.

That the Council of the Township of Central Frontenac approve posting the agenda and attachments on the web site, save and except for items to be discussed "In Camera", and further that a paper copy be made available at the meeting, if requested, at the regular photocopy fee of .25 cents per page to members of the public and that a request for a copy of the agenda be filed with the Clerk 24 hours in advance.
