COUNCIL MINUTES

JUNE 30, 2003

Council met in special session, Monday June 30, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Sharbot Lake.

The purpose of the meeting was to complete the In Camera items from the agenda of June 24, 2003.

There were no disclosures of pecuniary interest.

The following resolutions were presented

That the agenda of June 30, 2003 be adopted as presented.

Pursuant to Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001 that Council proceed in camera to discuss personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees and advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose.

That the In Camera meeting return to regular Council.

That the recommendation of the Area Supervisors to advance the 8 Labourer/ Equipment Operators to the next step of the salary grid be approved.

That the recommendations of the Public Works Manager to create 3 full time positions at step 1 of Level J of the salary grid, effective September 1, 2003 be approved and filled by Don Ferguson, Sherman Scott and Rick Commodore.
