COUNCIL MINUTES – MAY 17, 2001

Council met in special session on Thursday, May 17, 2001 at 6:00 p.m. in the
Council Chambers, Sharbot Lake. The purpose of the meeting was to continue
budget discussions.

Deputy Mayor Jack Nicolson
Councillors Bob Harvey, Marsden Kirk, Boyce Peters, Elva Price, Faye
R.
Putnam, Frances Smith and Bill Snyder

Also in attendance were Heather Fox – Clerk, Judy Gray – Treasurer, Bill Nicol
– Public Works Manager.

There were no declarations of pecuniary interest.

There was no formal agenda presented and no resolutions presented.

The Treasurer was requested to input the changes made to the budget to establish
an approximate 9.9 % tax increase. It was decided to finalize the budget at the
next regular meeting of Council scheduled for May 29, 2001 at 9:00 a.m.

The meeting adjourned by verbal agreement at 9:00 p.m.
