SPECIAL COUNCIL MINUTES - THURSDAY, JUNE 10th, 1999


Council met in Special session on Thursday, June 10, 1999 at 1:00 p.m.
Councillor Faye Putnam arrived at 2:00 p.m. and Councillor Bob Harvey attended
another pre-scheduled meeting between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m.

Staff members in attendance were Judy Gray, Heather Fox, Cathy MacMunn, Jim
Hegadorn and Bev Irwin.

The purpose of the meeting was to finalize the budget and set the residential
tax rate.

The following resolutions were passed:

#261 Bob Harvey, Faye R. Putnam
That the 1999 budget be approved as amended; and that the municipal
residential tax rate be established at .01346876; and that the final residential
tax bills be prepared with the due dates of July 23, 1999 and September 24,
1999; and that the Clerk prepare a By-law to adopt the budget and establish the
mandatory tax rates.

That the meeting adjourn until Tuesday, June 22, 1999 or the call of the
Mayor.
