COUNCIL MINUTES - APRIL 20, 1998
Council met in special session to complete the agenda from the April 14th
meeting.
All members were present except Bob Harvey.
Michael Dawber attended as reporter, Heather Fox, Clerk also attended.
The following resolutions were passed:
185 Mike Beattie, Doug Bearance
That Council go in camera to discuss a personnel issue.

That Council arise from the in Camera Session.

That Council deny the request for assistance from Sharbot Lake Seniors Home due
to
budgetary uncertainty.

That Council obtain a legal opinion regarding area rating of Oso Municipal
building.

That the matter of inside doors for the library be included in the preliminary
budget.

passed at one meeting.

That the Hinchinbrooke Fire Department is allowed to increase the number of fire

That Section 79(3) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.M.45 states that Council
may
provide that the signature of the treasurer and of any other person authorized
to sign cheques issued by the treasurer may be written or engraved,
lithographed, printed or otherwise mechanically reproduced on cheques. Now
therefore, the Council of the Township of Central Frontenac authorizes that
signatures can be reproduced in this manner under the direction and security of
the Treasurer.

flowers in the event of death of a Council member, staff member or family
members:
Council member or spouse - $50.00 donation to charity of choice.
Staff member or spouse - $50.00 donation to charity of choice.
Family member - $25.00 donation to charity of choice.
(Family member includes - parents (in-laws), children (in-laws) grandparents)
Other family members - a sympathy card.
