Running in the 2006 Election

Information on being a candidate in the the 2006 Central Frontenac Municipal Election

A candidate is entitled to run in any Electoral District of the Township of Central Frontenac regardless of where he/she resides.

Candidates must be eighteen (18) years of age, a Canadian Citizen and be an owner or tenant of land in the Municipality, or the spouse of an owner or tenant of land in the Municipality.

Nomination papers are available at the Municipal Office during regular office hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm) or on September 29^th from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Nominations must be filed with the Clerk no later than 5:00pm on September 29^th, 2006.

Nominations may be withdrawn on October 2^nd, 2006.
