Frontenac is a geographic area. The centre of the Central
Frontenac is roughly 80 Kilometres north of the City of Kingston,

Historical
Central
Frontenac has a rich history. The native peoples included the
Algonquin People. Central Frontenac first began to be settled by
europeans in 1830. Communities developed, centred
around the lumber trade and the railways. Central Frontenac continues to develop it's
