Treasury and Taxation Department

The Treasury Department of Central Frontenac Township is responsible for the overall financial health of the municipality. Functions include Tax Billing and Collection, Investing and Borrowing of Municipal Funds, Budget Preparation, Financial Reporting, Payroll, General Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Property Tax Bills

Tax Bills are mailed out twice a year.

Interim Tax Bills are mailed out in January and have 2 payment dates: February and April. The Interim Billing is based on the prior year's taxes. Each payment is equal to 25% of the prior year's total tax billing.

Final Tax Bills: are mailed out in June and have 2 payment dates: June and September.

Overdue Payments: are charged an interest of 1.25% per month.  If you are having difficulty making payments, please contact our tax department at 613-279-2935 ext 221.

Preauthorized Tax Payment:  Using this form you can apply to have your tax payments automatically withdrawn from your bank account. For more information contact the tax department at 613-279-2935 ext 221.

Interact Available: The Township now accepts Interac payments at the main office.

Change of Address Form: If your address has changed please fill out the Change of address form and drop it off or mail it to the Township Office address listed on the form.         Change of Address Form

For property owners who wish to use more than one address throughout the year, our office requires notification of this in writing.  We will then be able to send your Interim Tax Billing Notice to one address and your Final Tax Billing Notice to another address.   Please download and use the following form.                     Multiple Address Form
