Building Department

Central Frontenac Township's Building Department ensures that building activities adhere to applicable regulations.

Why are Building Permits Required?

Building permits are required to ensure that all buildings are constructed in a safe and healthful manner in accordance with the Ontario Building Code, the Township of Central Frontenac Zoning By-law, as amended, and all applicable laws. They are also required to ensure that a new use in an existing building does not interfere with life and structural safety elements in the existing building.

For information about building, contact the Building Department at (613) 279-2935 Ext 226.
