Should Your Trees be Worried? - Forests in the 21st Century
On February 22, the Limestone Chapter of the Ontario Woodlot Association (OWA) presents Should Your Trees be Worried? - Forests in the 21st Century.
This workshop will kick off a series on how to get the most out of forests and woodlots. We depend on forests for commercial, recreational and environmental benefits. This series will explore how our traditional expectations of forests may be disrupted in this century by climate change.
All are welcome to bring ideas and join the discussion - on Wednesday, February 22 at 7pm at the United Church hall, 2170 Unity Road in Elginburg, north of Kingston.
For more information, contact David Sexsmith at 613-373-9334 or email@example.com

No Person shall park a vehicle on a highway or parts of a highway at any time when such parking may obstruct or interfere with the removal of snow, or the maintenance of the highway by municipal equipment or work crews.
From November 15th in any year until March 31st of the following year, no vehicle shall be parked between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 7:00 a.m. on any highway within the limits of the Corporation of the Township of Central Frontenac.

REMINDER WHEN PLOWING DRIVEWAYS AND BUSINESSES
The Highway Traffic Act R.S.O. 1990, C. H.8, S. 181 states: “No person shall deposit snow or ice on a roadway without permission in writing to do so from the Ministry or road authority responsible for maintenance of the road”.
A septic system is a private sewage treatment system. They are common in rural areas where there are no municipal sewage pipes for homes, farms, businesses or other facilities to hook into. They are less common in urban areas.
What your septic looks like, how it’s designed and constructed depends on where you live, how much space you have, the characteristics of the surrounding land and the make-up of the soil. Whatever type you have, however, all septic systems require careful attention to design, construction, operation and maintenance.
